Silence as Origin
I begin from silence—not absence, but presence. Silence is where I listen more deeply. It is the space before words, before marks, before intention. From here, the first gesture arises. In a noisy world, I return to quiet as a form of resistance and refuge. My work does not shout; it invites you to lean in.

Repetition as Presence
Repetition, for me, is a way of returning. Each mark, each line, each shade carries a different emotion and presence. It’s not about perfection—it’s about coming back. The body remembers, even when the mind forgets. In repeating, I make space for healing, for breathing, for being. It is how I stay connected with my soul.

Nature as Mirror
I see nature as an extension of the inner self—they are not symbols to decorate but voices to listen to. It is not only for their texture and warmth, but for their truth. Nature doesn’t hurry. It becomes, decays, transforms. In it, I see my own rhythms.

Material as Companion
I work with humble materials: pencil, paper and clay. Each carries weight—not just physical, but emotional and symbolic. These materials feel honest and act as collaborators in a quiet conversation. They allow me to trace memory, grief, and identity without adornment.

Time as Medium
My process is slow and intuitive. I often begin without knowing where the work will lead. I listen. I repeat. I let the material speak. Sometimes, a single piece takes weeks—not because it is difficult, but because it needs to unfold on its own terms.

Space as Ritual
My studio is more than a workspace—it’s a space for ritual. I begin with soft music or the scent of essential oils. Some rituals are personal: brushing clay dust into a line, sweeping the table clean before I begin, arranging my tools in quiet order. These silent acts shape the energy of my work and remind me that making art is a form of devotion.

At Its Core....
At its core,
my work is about returning—
To the body.
To the breath.
To the self.
To a slower, softer way of being in the world.

I don’t create to impress.
I create to understand.
To connect.
To remember.
To come home.

My practice begins
with stillness....
