Attention and Beginning
My work begins with attention. Before any mark is made, there is a moment of observation where conditions are set. This starting point is not about expression, but about establishing a way of working. Drawing becomes a process of maintaining attention over time through continuous action.

System and Repetition
Each work is guided by a simple system. A rule defines the structure, and repetition carries the process forward. Through repeated gestures, small marks accumulate into ordered fields. The system provides clarity, while repetition allows the work to unfold gradually without a predetermined image.

Time and Material
Time is embedded through the act of making. Each mark records a moment of contact between hand and material. Pencil, paper, and clay respond directly to pressure and touch, allowing the process to remain visible. Over time, the surface becomes a record of accumulated actions, where structure and duration are held together.
